If not, a proof of English proficiency (e.g. TOEFL) will be required (see below).
6. Scholarship

The registration fees for a CAS (CHF 3,950, approx. US$ 4,600) or a DAS (CHF 2,000, approx. US$ 2,300) will have to be paid before the start of the course. To reach individuals from around the world regardless of their financial status, the course co-organisers support CAS / DAS applicants when looking for scholarship support.

We are continuously exploring opportunities to make competitive, individual scholarships available to cover the registration fees for a limited number of successful CAS applicants from low and lower-middle income countries. Depending on the source of funding, eligibility criteria might have to be applied (e.g. focus countries, involvement in specific sectors or programmes, target age groups, etc.)

Your information below will help us coordinate scholarship support.

How will you finance your contribution to the CAS programme fees (select as many as applicable)?

By submitting my application, I declare that the above information is correct.

Moreover, I declare that I have carefully read the Course and Exam Rules of the advanced education programmes in Integrated Crop Management (ICM) and that I am ready to pay the registration fee upon receipt of my registration confirmation.

As soon as the programmes’ board confirms my registration, I shall pay the full registration fee to the University of Neuchâtel myself or provide a written confirmation letter from an organisation which agrees to pay for me.

I further understand that the following withdrawal fees will apply (extract from the Course and Exam Rules ):

  • If a participant withdraws more than 30 days before the start of the class, an amount of CHF 300 will be retained or demanded as an administrative fee.
  • In the event of withdrawal between 30 days and 15 days before the start of the class, half of the registration fee will be retained or demanded. Exceptions are possible if the participant can demonstrate valid reasons.
  • If the participant withdraws within 14 days before the start of the class or after the first day of class, the full amount of the registration fee will be retained or demanded. Exceptions are possible if the participant can demonstrate valid reasons.
  • These rules shall also apply if the participant’s registration fee comes in whole or in part from a scholarship.

I also understand that in the event of final disqualification (failure) from a programme, as stated in the Course and Exam Rules Art. 12 and Art. 20, no refund of the registration fee is possible.

I confirm that I understand the time commitment required to successfully complete a CAS ICM programme (approximately 10 hours of work per week throughout the 9-month programme duration).

I confirm having read the information above and I accept the Course and Exam Rules.
